Usage

Dilute with ten times of water, apply on top of oil stains, then remove with brush or cloths.

Oil decomposition mechanism

The biggest difference between traditional detergents and ABREAK is that the latter eliminates the physical properties of oil.

Traditional detergents remove oil with the help of surfactants, but did little to change the physical properties of oil. A major culprit was that these relatively large droplets in suspension recombines with each other and rise to the surface. This led to formation of oil streaks, oil balls, and the clogging of pipes. ABREAK provides a novel solution using specially designed molecules that break larger oil droplets, on contact, into increasingly microscopic ones. (atomization)

This splitting turns the emulsion more and more water-like as oil droplets reduce in size. Subsequently added water then takes up the gaps between oil particles, increasing the inter-distance and ensure they do not merge back. (Hydrodispersion)

The combined effects of atomization and hydrodispersion allows for the elimination of oil’s physical properties, removing its ability to recombine and to reattach to surfaces, thus preventing the formation of oil streaks and solidification due to recombination.

1. ABREAK touches the oil surface and encapsulates it
2. Atomization, oil droplets get reduced into smaller and smaller particles
3. Hydrodispersion, water molecules enter and widen the gaps between microdroplets.
4. Eventual absorption/homogenization of microdroplets into water.

ABREAK breaks down oil into microdroplets until they can only be seen under a microscope, in which state the emulsion behaves almost like water, not oil.

Unlike traditional neutralizers, ABREAK do not form cloudy emulsions, it can also function with all kinds of water, be it soft water, hard water or even sea water. Bio-degradability is tested at 98% (Japan analysis Center research), and oil is hydrodispersed. Ingredients are neutral and does no harm to humans and the nature alike.

As oil droplets are atomized into the molecular scale, oil streaks can no longer form and reattachment is made impossible.
